About Us
From Indonesia's Cardamom to the World
Founded in Jakarta in 2016, PT Suwarna Abadi Semesta built its business on a principle the spice trade doesn’t always practice: full disclosure before a shipment leaves the warehouse. The founders had seen the industry’s worst side firsthand — scams, bad-faith suppliers, buyers left holding damaged cargo — and built Suwarna around the opposite promise: “We don’t promise perfect. We promise disclosed.”
Today Suwarna runs two warehouses, in Tangerang and Surabaya, moving roughly 100 tons a month across its spice lines. Every batch is sorted, dried, and fumigated on-site, with the warehouse process open to buyers rather than hidden behind a broker.

Indonesia White Cardamom
Suwarna’s flagship export spice — known locally as kapulaga or buah pelaga, botanically Amomum compactum. Sorted, dried, and fumigated in our own Tangerang and Surabaya warehouses, disclosed before every shipment. Available whole and ground. Packaged in 25kg PP (polypropylene) bags.
Long Nutmeg
Whole dried nutmeg with its distinctive elongated shape, sourced from Indonesian nutmeg-growing regions. Rich in essential oil, it’s used whole or ground across food, beverage, and fragrance industries.
Nutmeg ABCD / SS
Dried nutmeg kernels offered in whole graded sizes (ABCD) and naturally split pieces (S/S), both prized for their strong essential oil content and classic warm, sweet-spicy flavor. Uses: Ground or whole for baking, beverage flavoring, savory seasoning blends, and essential oil extraction.
Long Peppers
A traditional Indonesian spice with a warmer, more complex heat than round black pepper. Long pepper is gaining renewed demand in specialty food and traditional medicine markets across Asia.
White Pepper
Sun-dried and hulled from mature pepper berries, our white pepper delivers a clean, sharp heat without the dark specks of black pepper — ideal for light-colored sauces, seasonings, and processed food applications where visual clarity matters.
Black Pepper
The world’s most traded spice, sourced and processed to retain its full essential oil content and pungency. Our black pepper is sun-dried whole peppercorns, suited for grinding, whole-spice blends, and industrial food manufacturing.
Cinnamon
Rolled and naturally dried cinnamon bark with a warm, sweet-spicy aroma, supplied as whole sticks for culinary, beverage, and confectionery use.
Coffee Beans
Green (unroasted) coffee beans sourced from Indonesian growing regions, offered to roasters and traders who want control over their own roast profile.
Areca/Betel Nut
Dried whole areca nuts processed to export standard, supplying established demand across Asian markets where betel nut is a traditional chew and cultural staple.
Long/Round Mace
The delicate lace-like covering of the nutmeg seed, dried to a deep reddish hue. Mace offers a more refined, slightly sweeter flavor than nutmeg itself and is prized in fine seasoning blends and baked goods.
